The senator representing Anambra south, Ifeanyi Ubah, has stated that a significant proportion of Igbo individuals accumulate their wealth from the legacy established by President Bola Tinubu in Lagos state.

Ubah made this declaration upon officially joining the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, citing Tinubu's governance capabilities and understanding of the nation's challenges.

Ubah emphasized the need for the Igbo community to align with Tinubu's administration and commended the appointment of Engr. Dave Umahi as Minister of Works.

APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, expressed confidence in the party's prospects in the southeast with Ubah's defection, aiming for a political shift in the region.
