Usman Baba, the inspector general of police, has urged the people to report all types of cybercrimes.

These include credit card fraud, internet fraud, stalking, cyberbullying, child sexual exploitation, and other types.

In a statement, Force Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi listed the following websites and phone numbers:

https://incb.npf.gov.ng, [email protected], 07043797900 for WhatsApp, and call/SMS 08094557845.

The INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja's Cybercrime Reporting Portal provides access to information and data exchange with the organization's 195 member nations.

The website also offers a variety of materials, including condensed information on cybercrime awareness, advice for being safe online, the 2015 Cybercrime Act, etc.

Baba, according to Adejobi, has mandated the construction of a new office complex for the Force Intelligence Bureau across from the Louis Edet House in order to increase the collection of intelligence (FIB).

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police was tasked by the IGP to use both material and human resources to effectively gather active intelligence.

Additionally, Baba ordered the AIG-FIB to start educating its officers and personnel on how to use the brand-new office building and modern technology.

To help the security agency achieve effective policing and public safety, the police asked Nigerians to offer timely information.
