Buhari, northern govs in crucial meeting over consensus candidate ahead of tomorrows Primary
At the State House in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) is in meeting with governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
This will be the fourth of a series of discussions between President Buhari and party stakeholders ahead of tomorrow's Presidential Primary votes in Eagle Square, Abuja.
Aside from his meeting with APC Governors on Tuesday, Buhari met with the party's presidential candidates, urging them to consult and choose a strong candidate from among themselves.
On Sunday night, the President convened a dinner for members of the National Advisory Council, during which he stated that the party is on the verge of winning its third election since 2015.

Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi, Simon Along of Plateau, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Aminu Masari of Katsina, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Abubakar Bello of Niger, Yahaya Inuwa of Gombe, Babagana Zulum of Borno, Nasir El-Rufa and others.
