The Police Headquarters in Abuja announced on Thursday that it has initiated a manhunt for dog owners who paid women to have sex with their pets, adding that they will be arrested and prosecuted immediately.
CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, announced this on Twitter on Thursday in Abuja.
When the dog owners are apprehended, he says they will be disciplined and prosecuted.
He promised that security personnel would not back down until women caught having sex with dogs in viral TikTok videos were captured and prosecuted as a deterrent to those who did the same.

"They have questions to answer as well." The crime is punishable by law, and so it is condemned. We will apprehend the lady and others like her, as well as the men, who were involved in this criminal and barbaric act as soon as possible."

The video was reportedly shot in Nigeria, and many people were left wondering why a dog owner would pay a girl seven figures to sleep with his pet.
According to findings, the Criminal Code Act and the Penal Code Act outlaw sleeping with an animal and the act draws up 14 years imprisonment in Nigeria.
