He said, "But for those who have chosen to be opponents, I will not dwell on it; let's see who prevails," he continued. "But I want to win, and I want you to join me in convincing more delegates."
Tinubu also urged the forum to back him in his presidential bid and to keep the party united in their various states in order to succeed, beginning with the close elections in Osun and Ekiti.
If given the chance, Tinubu said he will solve the economic and security concerns.
"I am familiar with many of you, and you have been involved in governance and political activities. You've assigned a monetary value to your various states. When we unified as one and adopted a broom as our party's symbol, it had a lot of significance. Let me begin by addressing our constitutional element, which I intend to investigate if elected. Our APC reward system is terrible, and I didn't realize it until it was too late. Let me tell you that if I am elected, I will not repeat that error.
"I know you have supporters that trust in you and the system. Please inform us that in some states where we have divisions, we must harmonise and become one. Oyo, in particular, is divided, and elections in Osun and Ekiti are on the horizon; these are preludes to the national election," he continued.
