The singer and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, announced last month that they are expecting their first child together.

She made a tragic news on Instagram yesterday.

She stated: "We must announce with great regret that we have lost our miraculous baby early in the pregnancy.

"For any parent, this is a difficult time. We should have waited until we were further along to announce, but we were overjoyed to share the wonderful news.

"Our strength comes from our affection for one another. We'll keep attempting to grow our wonderful family. We appreciate your help tremendously. We respectfully request your privacy during this difficult time."

"We shall have a miracle soon," Sam wrote in response to Britney's message.
