A young woman apprehended for allegedly killing her newborn baby in Kuru, Jos
In Kuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, a young woman was arrested for reportedly killing her newborn baby.
Witnesses say the defendant, a church chorister, killed the infant immediately after birth and was apprehended while attempting to conceal the body in the jungle on Wednesday, May 11.
Although the reason for her alleged crime has yet to be determined, Facebook users have stated that it was not her first time.
Members in the community claimed she had given birth twice or three times and murdered the children.
"She's doing it for the third time. That innocent child, and the man who got her pregnant, had no idea. A heartless individual. She is a member of the choir "Dera Vera commented.
