Residents of Enugu Ezike in Enugu State's Igboeze North Local Government Area are in shock following the release of a video showing a young girl being savagely raped by two guys in the neighborhood.
The youngster was seen imploring the guys who have yet to be identified to stop abusing her in the video, which is currently being shared by many people in the community, but her pleas went unheard.
The girl was heard pleading with them and referring to her tormentors as brothers in the local Enugu Ezike dialect, but the guys, who spoke the same dialect, instead forced her to suck their private parts after forcing their way into her.
The girl was also overheard pleading with them to stop filming the footage, which has since gone viral on social media.
Mrs Chioma Blessing, a neighborhood resident who talked with Vanguard, denounced the crime, calling it a "evil act" and "high-level barbarism."
Mr Emeka Jonah, a political leader in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, also spoke out against the occurrence. He decried the crime, emphasizing that the perpetrators will be apprehended and punished.
