Two men were abducted by gunmen on friday evening along Ugwogo Isi-Uzo road and taken to unknown destination. The gunmen were suspected to be herbsmen.
According to reports gathered the two person abducted were a Lawyer and a businessman respectivly and both are from Isi-Uzo.
It was made know that they were returning to Enugu City from their village (Isi-Uzo) when some heavily armed kidnappers intercepted them around Ora river Isi-Uzo Local Government Area. The two men were forced out of the car by the kidnappers and taken away leaving the wife of one of the men and their children in the spot.
Governor of Enugu State, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi responding to the situation had ordered for thorough searching of the surrounding bushes around the area. As the search is still ungoing the Families of the abducted persons is still waiting to know whether the kidnappers will contact them.
