Gas Explosion Killed two and damage shops in Ajao area Lagos

Gas explosion hits Afriogun Street in ajao area of Lagos. Two person has been confirmed dead following the explosion.

According to the report gathered, the explosion start from a gas cylinder in a gas shop. The shop owner who have left for home was called back to attend to a customer in the shop. She went back and and attended to the customer.  When the customer was about to put the cylinder in a tricycle it fell down and explode killing the shop owner with one other person, the explosion damaged some properties and houses near by including nine shops and some cars.

Lagos State Emergency Mangement Agency, Director General; Olufemi Oke- Osanyintolu who confirmed the incident said that the fire had been extinguished and two bodies were recovered and evacuated from the scene of the incident
